Refund Policy

At GutLab, we are committed to delivering high-quality products. Because our gut health formula is a perishable food product, special conditions apply to refunds and returns.

1. No General Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds once products have been dispatched.

  • This policy helps ensure product safety and quality for all our customers.

2. Refunds & Replacements for Damaged or Spoiled Products

You may be eligible for a replacement or partial refund if:

  • Your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or in unacceptable condition.

  • You notify GutLab within 24 hours of delivery.

  • You provide clear photographic evidence of the product and packaging.

GutLab reserves the right to inspect evidence and determine whether a replacement or refund is appropriate.

3. Incorrect or Missing Orders

If you receive the wrong product or your order is incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or resolve the error at no additional cost.

4. Shipping Errors & Customer Responsibility

  • GutLab is not responsible for spoilage or damage caused by:

    • Failure to collect or store the product immediately upon delivery.

    • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer once delivery has been confirmed by the courier.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Refund amounts are limited to the purchase price of the affected product(s).

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable except where the error was caused by GutLab.

6. Consumer Protection Act

This policy is applied in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) of South Africa. Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights.
